In the late 1970's Roger Worsham owned a bike shop called Coast Wheels in Yorba Linda, California - and sponsored a BMX team - Coast Wheels racing. In the early 1980's Roger began manufacturing BMX bikes and the brand CW Racing began. It is said that CW actually stood for Custom Works - not Coast Wheels as many at the time thought. We're sure keeping the two company names separate would have helped when the bike shop was later sold so Roger could focus on the BMX business.
