The 1986 Harry Leary Turbo. The all new Turbo, named for Turbo Havry Leary, has been completely redesigned & respec'd for '86. Constructed of 100% aircraft quality 41-30 CR-MO tubing & inert gas heliarc TIG welded into the most advanced racing geometry anywhere. The turbo incorporates an array of unique features: Hollow 3-piece chromoly crankset, Dia Compe MX 901 brakes front & rear, Suntour XC-II pedals, sealed bearings, double butted spoke wheels & Comp III tires, special extra long DB pro stem & extra large DB chromoly handlebars. Colors: Grey baked epoxy with special "clear coat" overcoating.

F stands for Fairly factory. Second digit indicates year of production (1985 or 1986). X in the serial indicates production Month (5 to 12 - May to Dec). Y in the serial indicates production Month (1 to 4 - Jan to April).
Bikes made in Taiwan usually had an 8 month production and shipping timeline before they were sold in bike shops around the world. In May of any year, factories would usually switch production to making models for the following year.
