The 1987 General Sidekick Pro was the top of the range Scooter model. It featured a HI-TEN frame with CR-MO brace and HI-TEN fork. 14" Fiber reinforced Nylon mag wheels and a choice of Chrome, Black, Light Blue, White/Pink and Yellow colour ways.

The second digit in the serial sequence is a number it indicates the year of production. 6=1986 or 7=1987. The third and fourth digits indicate production month. Shown as XX in the example above.
Bikes made in Taiwan usually had an 5-8 month production and shipping timeline before they were sold in bike shops around the world. Bikes welded in the later months of the year would normally be made for the following year.
