1984 Haro fst BMX Catalogue

F.S.T. designates that this bike is the new Haro F.S.T., designed for freestyle, street and track riding. The F.S.T. frame combines many of the features found on the Haro Master and Sport framesets. 4130 Chromoly tubing throughout, heavy duty dropouts and a unique geometry designed for developing freestylers, occasional racers and serious street riding. The F.S.T. is equipped with components you would expect to find on expensive racing or freestyle bikes. The two into one top-tube design, reinforcing downtube gusset, Dia Compe front and rear caliper brakes and chromoly cranks add up to freestyle. But the lightweight Ukai alloy rims, Suntour freewheel, National Panaracer tires and overall fun handling make this a great street bike and a competitive racing bike. The F.S.T. is available now at a price you won't believe. If you want the best, there's only one choice, Haro. Remember, we invented freestyle BMX.

Made in Taiwan.
Here's how to check your Haro BMX serial number. First 2 numbers in the serial indicates year of production (1983 or 1984). Numbers indicated by XX in the serial are Month (05 - 12 - May to Dec). YY in the serial indicates production Month (01 to 04 - Jan to April).

Bikes made in Taiwan usually had an 8 month production and shipping timeline before they were sold in bike shops around the world. In May of any year, factories would usually switch production to making models for the following year.
