Almost every part on this bicycle is Hutch-specific, directly-influenced by its 1980’s predecessor. No “catalog” parts with a brand name slapped on like others do. Virtually every component was developed from scratch by Hutch and manufactured with custom tooling. The Hutch line of complete bicycles raises the bar above all other retro-style completes ever made. The frame is 100% 4130 chromoly. Heat-treated HT, BB, and dropouts for added strength. Butted DT and TT for added strength and reduced weight. 1-1/8” Integrated BMX headtube, Mid BB 990 brake mounts, 14mm dropouts, 22.5” TT - 18.15” chainstay, 13.2” BB height, 25.5” standover height, 73 degree HT angle, 69 degree seat post. Accommodates up to 44T front gear size while maintaining proper chain alignment. The fork is 100% 4130 chromoly with tapered and butted fork legs for added strength and reduced weight, 1-1/8” threadless steer tube 170mm length, 990 brake mounts, Internal cable routing, 3/8” dropouts - M25 x 1.5 internal threads. The crankset is Hutch Aerospeed, 4130 chromoly, Heat-treated for extra strength, 175mm length, 6 degree rake angle will clear chainstays of most frames of any size. 48-spline industry-compatible, 9/16” pedal thread with a Hutch 39T CNC machined 6061 billet aluminum Correctly-sized chainring bolt holes so riders can customize the look by adding chainring bolts of their color preference for appearance purposes to emulate a true 2-piece disc and chainring.
