In the middle of the 1997 Mongoose freestyle line up is the Rogue, a cro-mo freestyle main frame in chrome with a chrome 1 inch cro-mo fork, Mongoose polished alloy stem, Mongoose cro-mo freestyle handlebar, Mongoose Kryton grips. Dia Compe Bulldog front and Dia Compe Nippon 883 rear brake with mongoose alloy levers, Mongoose double wall 48 hole alloy rims with Formula alloy hubs and Mongoose DMC skinwall freestyle tyres. Mongoose heat treated 1-piece cro-mo curved 175 millimetre crank set with polished alloy 43 tooth chain wheel, Mongoose alloy comp pedals, 26.0 millimetre seat post, Mongoose freestyle seat and 3 bolt seat clamp.
