The 1986 Pro Class 24 is a 24" cruiser for those who demand unparalleled performance, quality, and componentry. It was developed and refined by the 1983 ABA National #1 rider, Brett Allen. The advanced engineering of the frame and fork geometry incorporates the crisp handling response of a 20" bicycle with the stability, control and speed of the larger 24" wheel. Pro Class Series III hard anodized wheels, not only imparts a tough scratch resistant finish, but it helps increase rim rigidity up to 21%. The other premium components include sealed bearing hubs, Pro Class Tubular Chromoly Cranks, an alloy and chromoly Pro Class Stem and the new deep-gripping SR MPT-100 bear trap style pedals. The Pro Class 24 frame is finished in maintenance free chrome plate and trimmed with black and chrome components. A frame and fork set is also available separately for custom building.
