The 1988 Californian Pro is Mongoose's premium race ready machine. Equipped with all the features that provide Pro level handling and performance. It all starts with the heliarc welded frame with the lightweight advantage of a Triple Butted chromoly front triangle and chromoly tail for extra quick acceleration! The premium components include Mongoose's 1⅛" Uni-crown design chromoly forks, Dia Compe front and rear brakes, heat treated 175mm Boron Steel cranks, a slick looking Tioga alloy CD chainwheel and SR alloy platform pedals. Dia Compe side pull brakes have a quick release feature for easy wheel removal. Other quality components include the patented Pro Class. Series Ill hard anodized wheels and smooth rolling ACS sealed system hubs. The Californian Pro even comes with a complete set of safety pads. Available in Dark Platinum Grey or Classic Chrome.
