Freestyle
The 1988 Decade is Mongoose's most popular freestyle bicycle. Developed and refined with the help of the Mongoose freestyle team. Guys like Karl Rothe, Chris Lashua and Marty Schlesinger. These guys couldn't get together on the choice of wheels, so the Decade is available as two models. The Decade Mag, equipped with nylon mag wheels, or the Decade Spoke with Pro Class Series 5 alloy 48-spoke wheels. Either model Decade has been equipped with the latest in radical freestyle equipment for radical tricks. Cool stuff like Pro Class handlebars with the extra traction of a deep knurled crossbar, Tioga CD front chainwheel, quick stopping Dia Compe freestyle front brake and the new ACS Gripper U-brake. The front Dia Compe brake features a recessed rear nut and quick release feature. The Decade also features the new Tioga freestyle stem and the new ACS Pro alloy rotor. The Pro Class saddle features chrome skid rail. The Mongoose Decade Mag is available in Dark Platinum Grey, Wildfire Red or Classic Chrome, highlighted with white mags and accessories.
