Chrome-moly Fork
This fork is known throughout BMX as the "Chrome-Moly Fork" simply because when Red Line introduced it early in 1973, it was the only chrome-moly BMX Fork on the market. It fits any frame with a 4 inch head tube. Weight: 2 pounds 1 ounce. Colors: Black, blue, chrome, red, white, and yellow.
Micro Line Fork
The Micro-Line Fork is the only fork on the market (other than our own Pro-Line Fork) that is heat treated after welding. This process enables the use of very thin wall tubing while maintaining incredible strength. The Micro-Line Fork fits any frame with a 4 inch head tube. Weight: 1 pound 9 ounces. Colors: Red and white.
Super Pro Line Stem
The Super Pro-Line Stem (AKA Brute Stem) is the successor to the original Pro-Line Double Clamp Stem. As anyone in BMX can tell you, Red Line introduced the first real BMX stem. The Super Pro-Line Stem uses a chrome-moly stem tube and a cold-forged alloy head. Weight: 1 pound 2 ounces. Colors: Silver, red, blue, and gold.
Flight Crank
Flight Cranks took 3 vears to develop and perfect. The torture test in the April 1980 issue of Bicycle Motocross Action Magazine proves that Flight Cranks take whatever is dished out. Flight Cranks are the only 3 piece chrome-moly BMX crank made and are used by virtually all the top Pro's. Weight: 1 pound 10 ounces (without pedals and optional sprocket). Lengths: 170, 175, 180, 185mm. Colors: Polished chrome.
Flight Crank Sprocket
(AKA Bubble Font Chainring) These Sprockets are designed specifically for Flight Cranks. Machined from high strength aluminum alloy, these sprockets are lighter than any other spyder and sprocket combina-tion, while maintaining the simplicity of a one-piece design. Weight: 5 ounces. Teeth: 43T. 44T. 45T. Pitch: ½" × ⅛". Colors: Machined Aluminum.
V Bars
The famous V Bar is another Red Line innovation. The V crossbar allows the handlebars to flex, thereby spreading stress over a wider area and reducing metal fatigue. The V Bars are all chrome-moly and available in two sizes: Pro-Line with a 9" rise and 26" width; and Micro-Line with an 8" rise and 23" width. Weight: Pro-Line, 1 pound 9 ounces: Micro-Line, 1 pound 8 ounces. Colors: Blue, chrome, and red.
Fluted Seat Post
The chrome-moly fluted seat post is another Red Line exclusive, made of 100 percent chrome-moly to resist bending by the heaviest riders. Weight: 7 ounces. Length: 11 inches. Max extension height: 8 inches. Colors: Chrome.
