SE Bikes

SE Bikes, originally SE Racing, was founded by Scot Breithaupt in the late 1970s in Southern California, establishing itself as a pioneering BMX brand. Breithaupt, known as the “Godfather of BMX,” was instrumental in organizing early BMX races. SE Racing was officially established in 1977, quickly gaining fame with the PK Ripper, an iconic BMX model known for its innovative aluminum frame.

In the 1980s, SE Racing expanded its influence by sponsoring top BMX riders and introducing groundbreaking designs. Despite financial difficulties in the 1990s and several ownership changes, SE Bikes persevered. The brand was acquired by Advanced Sports International (ASI) in 2002, leading to a resurgence.

Today, SE Bikes is celebrated for its historical contributions and continued innovation in BMX. Offering a diverse lineup for various riding styles, SE Bikes remains a beloved name in the BMX community.
