Speed costs money, how fast do you want to go? That old saying doesn't apply when you're talking about the top of the line 1999 Torker TR5.5. 3-piece tubular chromoly cranks, sealed bearing Torker hubs and a Pro XL sized twin top yube frame don't come cheap. Matt Hadan doesn't mind not being able to use the company helicopter anymore. Helicopter fuel costs alot, the TR5.5 doesn't.

Bikes made in Taiwan usually had an 5-8 month production and shipping timeline before they were sold in bike shops around the world. Bikes welded in the later months of the year would normally be made for the following year.
